drive

okay.  i am a bad blogger.  slap me on the wrist.  but i have been BUSY.  work has been busy, had a strata meeting thing last night and meetings offsite.  and today i have a job interview.

i’m not really sure how i feel about it.  to be honest, i don’t get the best feeling about it… and they’ve said that i’d have to work some evenings and weekends, as it’s event based, and i’m not super stoked on that.  i’ve been enjoying the monday to friday 9-5 office life.  also it’s in a shit area.  it would take me longer to get to work, and 3 buses and a skytrain.  that’s a lot of transferring… which sucks during rush hour ’cause sometimes buses are full and you might not get on the next one you have to take.

the other thing is that they want someone to start like immediately.  and i didn’t really want to start something new until a month or two from now.  so ya… we’ll see what happens.  basically i’m thinking of a number.  and if they offer me that number, then i’ll overlook all the issues sited above.  because honestly, it’s all about the money at the end of the day.

as of monday i’m in toronto for meetings… it should be cool.  and by cool i mean freezing cold.  i get home thursday night, then it’s good friday, then easter monday.  our office is open easter monday, but i’m going to work from home, because translink considers it a holiday, so commuting is going to be bullshit.

oh and speaking of commuting bullshit, yesterday my train’s engine “died”.  which meant i was trapped on the train for almost 2 hours.  we had to be towed into the station.  it was painfully boring and i was pissed off.  there was a guy beside me that missed his flight because of it.  HE was pissed off, lol.  damn translink.  bah.

i think it may be time for me to learn to drive.
